There is something to be said about the powerful feeling you get when you are in complete control. It feels good when you’re able to manipulate all aspects of your life to create outcomes that are in your favor. Confidence, autonomy, empowerment oh my! But this natural desire to control and have perfection has carried over into every aspect of our lives, including our relationships with our dogs. We control access to our dogs’ basic needs, and so we also believe we must maintain and control our dog’s behaviors and this just isn’t so.

I have an overwhelming appreciation for every single individual that led me and Boss Babe Dog Training, LLC to where it is today, but I thought I’d start off by introducing my most influential supporters: the nine million animals living in my house.....Okay, nine million is exaggerating a bit. Nine, I have nine animals. So I want to tell you about these wonderful companions that have influenced so much of my work and life.
